Research in a archive via YouTube

Oliver Brennecke, archivist in the Niedersächsisches Staatsarchiv [Lower Saxony State Archive] in Hannover, has opened a video channel on YouTube, in which he wants to introduce the work in archives and offers assistance in the exciting work with original sources.

The handling of archive information systems, research methods, source customer and the operation of the archives are explained in a comprehensible way. Many practical examples are shown in the archive information system Arcinsys, which uses the Niedersächsisches Staatsarchiv [Lower Saxony State Archive] in the “Archive Information System of Lower Saxony and Bremen“.

The 5th International Congress for Research on Pietism, organized by the Interdisciplinary Center for Pietism Research in cooperation with the Francke Foundations of Halle and the Historical Commission for the Study of Pietism, will take place from 26 to 29 August 2018 in the Francke Foundations in Halle.
